Lua Training Weekend
with Kumu Michelle Manu
Public Opening Weekend of the NATSTA Northwest Regional Retreat
This is a special opportunity to step into a focused training space with Kumu Michelle Manu during the opening weekend of the NATSTA Northwest Regional Retreat.
For this first portion of the retreat, we are opening registration to sincere students, martial artists, and community members who would like the opportunity to train directly with Kumu in a respectful, practice-centered environment.
This is not a lecture, demonstration, or meet-and-greet. It is a training weekend for those ready to listen, move, practice, and participate with humility and respect.
About the Weekend
The Lua Training Weekend offers participants the opportunity to enter the opening days of the NATSTA Northwest Regional Retreat and receive instruction from Kumu Michelle Manu before the retreat continues privately.
Training will take place over multiple days and will include movement, partner practice, principles of awareness and protection, and embodied martial training rooted in Kumu’s teaching.
Participants should expect to be active. The training will be accessible to a range of experience levels, but all participants are asked to arrive ready to participate fully, respectfully, and within the capacity of their own body.
